RA PARASOLS

RA Parasols are a great fixed or portable shading solution for both domestic and commercial applications. All models are available with heat, light, both heat & light, push button timer for the heaters and all come with an auto cut off safety switch that kills the power to the heaters when the umbrella is in the closed position.

Umbrellas for Garden & Outdoor use

Our Aztec Extreme Giant Umbrellas are designed for use where larger areas need to be covered by one or more structures.

These are manufactured with larger masts and reinforced arms to give you an extremely large and extremely robust and durable umbrella which can be used all year round.

Our robust frames operate via a telescopic drive system and each arm tensions the fabric with sprung loaded plunger ends which keeps your umbrella fabric looking beautiful.

Colour Options

Our Aztec Extreme models can also be custom made to suit your personal requirements giving you the opportunity to stand out from the crowd and create an interesting and vibrant umbrella if required.

Our framework can be powder coated in almost any RAL colour you choose, giving you the opportunity to have some fun with your umbrella.

All acrylic membranes are available with or without valances and again available in a wide range of colours. We can also mix and match colours to further assist in creating an amazing umbrella perfect for your project. All membranes are UV protected and fade resistant. If you require UV specifications for your chosen colour please contact the sales office.

Parasol Size Options

The extreme model is available in a large range of standard sizes to ensure we have something to offer almost any project.

Round Umbrella:
5.5m dia up to 9.0m dia in half metre increments
Square Umbrella:
5.5mx5.5m up to 8.0x8.0m in half metre increments
Rectangular Umbrella:
6.0x4.0m up to 8.0x7.0m in half metre increments

Bespoke sizes are also available on request.*

*Bespoke sized umbrellas are exempt from our advertised wind speeds.

UMBRELLA INSTALLATION & FIXING

Easy Installation

When installing our large umbrellas, safety is the main priority for you to consider. This is why you should consult with us in order to find the best solution for your project.

We offer a range of standard fitting options, along with a range of bespoke installation options which are manufactured at our factory. We pride ourselves on being able to assist you every step of the way on your project.

We can also offer help and advise on planning, surveying and installation queries regarding your garden umbrellas. We can also offer our accredited installation team to undertake works for you!

In-Ground Sleeves

This is the strongest of all the options and is recommended to be used wherever possible. For larger models we also offer a hinged option.

We will always have a solution for your commercial or domestic alfresco project.

Fitting instructions are available on request.

Spreader Plates

A good strong fixing for when other options are not possible.

Perfect for hard floors, metal structures or decking.

All plates are also available with hinges if required.

We can supply bespoke size plates if required.

Portable Bases

For use when other parasol installation options are not possible.

Not recommended for extremely windy locations unless additional fixings and weights are used.

There are two types of bases, with either adjustable feet or lockable wheels.

Bespoke installation options are also available.

Bespoke Installations

RA's in-house team can design, draw and fabricate bespoke fixing methods to suit your requirements, whether it be in-ground, on a balcony, a suspended floor, raised decking, on a boat or almost any other type of fixing required can be investigated.

Our accredited commercial umbrella installation team can undertake standard and bespoke installations for you, including full groundworks, electrical feed & even internal switching if required.
